On 16.8.2024 a delegation from the partner university National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan, visited the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Representatives of the Taiwanese university management visited USB with the aim of deepening cooperation in specific scientific fields on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding between selected Czech universities and the University Academic Alliance in Taiwan signed at the beginning of 2024. During the meeting, which was led by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, doc. Ing. Vladimír Žlábek, Ph.D., and attended by representatives from the faculties, closer cooperation was discussed, and common interest was expressed especially in the areas of teaching and artificial intelligence. The delegation concluded the joint meeting with a tour of the Academic Library and the Aquaponic Greenhouse.
