South Bohemian Research Center of Aquaculture and Biodiversity of Hydrocenoses
CENAKVA provides a wide range of users in the Czech Republic and abroad with open experimental facilities focused on the development of sustainable pond and intensive aquaculture in the context of global environmental changes, the quality of freshwater fish, the biology and conservation of crayfish and other invertebrates, water quality, and aquatic environments, along with equipment for data extraction and management.
The University of South Bohemia, Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters, is the coordinator and host of the large research infrastructure CENAKVA.

The Elixir CZ infrastructure is part of the European ELIXIR network and focuses on the management and sharing of biological data. It supports biological sciences research by providing tools for data storage and analysis.
