On Wednesday, 6 March 2024, at the meeting of the Scientific Board of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Rector of the University, prof. PhDr. Bohumil Jiroušek, Dr., presented a diploma to the newly appointed associate professor.

Doc. RNDr. Luděk Eyer, Ph.D., was appointed associate professor in the field of 'Molecular and Cell Biology and Genetics' with effect from 1 February 2024 and defended his habilitation thesis on 'Replication cycle inhibitors of medically important viral pathogens'
