About the programme

The master's degree is designed to provide students with sufficient extensive theoretical foundation as well as an adequate level of complementary practical knowledge and skills. However, within the chosen type of degree programme, emphasis is placed on ensuring that teaching is directed primarily towards general principles and understanding of the theoretical foundations, not only on the application of specific technologies and procedures.

Programme structure

Software engineering:
  • This specialization is focused on the design, development and implementation of information systems. Students will gain theoretical knowledge on the issues of building robust information systems in terms of their architecture, security, life cycle and development management.
  • Furthermore, they will acquire skills in the design and implementation of information systems and their deployment in the environment of contemporary infrastructure paradigms.
  • The combination of all this knowledge and skills, including the acquisition of generally applicable principles in the field of software engineering, will ensure that graduates are highly competitive in the labour market.

Graduate profile

    Graduates will be able to design and manage information and communication systems, and apply logical and analytical thinking and principles of modern information technology and systems.
    Graduate destinations include:
  • analyst and developer of web applications and enterprise information systems,
  • software architect,
  • development team leader,
  • programmer analyst,
  • data analyst,
  • architect of computer systems and networks,
  • IT manager,
  • IT solutions consultant.
