Study abroad
You can go to partner universities with which USB has concluded partnership agreements for cooperation. Such universities are literally all over the world. It is possible to go beyond partnership agreements under a number of other scholarship programmes. You can find more information about your options at the International Office of your faculty and on the USB website in the section 'International Cooperation'.
You can study abroad for 1 or 2 semesters. The exact length depends on the program from which the study stay is financed.
The most famous and popular is the European Union's Erasmus + program, but the offer does not end here. As an USB student, you can apply for university scholarship programs or you can use a number of other international programs administered by the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research / Dům zahraniční spolupráce (DZS) and other Czech and foreign institutions. Study stays in the countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe are supported by CEEPUS; AIA (Academic Information Agency) offers scholarships to all over the world, including China, Israel or Mexico. The EEA (European Economic Area) Funds specialize in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. And there are dozens of others.
You can go abroad not only to study, but also for an internship in companies or institutions or for a research stay. You can also work on interesting projects and improve language skills in the summer time during the so-called summer schools.
