On 23 January 2024, a meeting of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (FFPW USB) took place, at which a new candidate for the position of the Dean was elected for the term of office from 1 April 2024 to 30 March 2028.
Based on the vote of the members of the Academic Senate, the candidate for the position of the Dean of FFPW USB is the current Director of the Institute of Aquaculture and Protection of Waters, prof. Ing. Tomáš Policar, Ph.D.
The Dean is appointed by the Rector on the basis of the proposal of the Academic Senate of the faculty.
