At the international meeting of the BIP Erasmus+ program in Trnava, students from the USB Faculty of Education also participated

Adéla Šebelková and Tomáš Hrdlička, students from the Departments of Geography and English Studies at the Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia, recently participated in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) – “Nature, Culture, Landscape” in Trnava. The program, which provided participants with the opportunity to explore various aspects of landscapes and their significance, was organized by the Departments of Philosophy and Classical Archaeology at Trnava University. Thanks to the partnership of universities within the KreativEU alliance, students from Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic came together in Trnava.

The program was divided into five thematic days. Its content included lectures, discussions, exhibitions, and workshops on various topics such as historical, sacred, and environmental landscapes. The conclusion of the international meeting was dedicated to networking activities and the awarding of certificates. Each day offered a rich program for students, enabling them not only to gain new insights but also to explore the beauty of Trnava and immediately put their acquired knowledge into practice. Among other activities, participants visited some of the best-preserved city walls in Central Europe, historical university buildings, cultural facilities, and the Archeopark Cífer-Pác.

We would like to thank Tomáš and Adéla for their exemplary representation of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice on an international level, as well as for the feedback they provided about the event.

“This program was highly enriching. The opportunity to share opinions and ideas with experts and students from different countries is unique and led to an extraordinary experience, said Tomáš Hrdlička. Adéla Šebelková added: “Thanks to the friendly and hospitable environment at Trnava University, we felt comfortable, and the stay was beneficial both in terms of knowledge and social interactions.”
