On 5 November, a conference on "Cross-border transfer of knowledge and technology in the European Danube-Vltava Region" took place at the University of Passau. The main theme was Digital Transformation in Technology Transfer. All representatives of technology transfer offices from the European Danube-Vltava Region from the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria were invited to the event. It was the second edition of this conference. The main organiser was the Euroregion Šumava - Bayerischer Wald in cooperation with the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Office of Technology Transfer. The opening ceremony was addressed by the Rector of the University of Passau Prof. Ulrich Bartosch and the Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice Prof. Ing. Pavel Kozák, Ph.D. Subsequently, the top representatives of both universities discussed strategies for closer and concrete cooperation.
