About the programme

The aim of the degree programme is to prepare graduates for the position of an analyst in business, in a bank or insurance company and in the state administration. The students build and expand their knowledge mainly in the field of economics, finance, analytical and statistical methods, and management.

Programme structure

  • Compulsory courses in the volume of 130 credits are oriented on economics and its theories, data processing and data modelling, decision theory.
  • The individual courses then profile students in subjects related to marketing, finance and geography in their various applications by choosing one compulsory elective block.
  • Other compulsory elective courses are offered in a minimum of 14 credits and a recommended elective of 5 credits.

Graduate profile

    Graduates will acquire skills and abilities in choosing adequate methods for obtaining economic, demographic and other appropriate data, working with databases, managing staff or teams, financial management, risk management, planning and designing in the region. Graduates of the Bachelor's programme can be employed in practice, depending on their chosen field of study. After completing the bachelor's programme, the student may then continue on to a follow-up master's programme with the same focus.
    Graduate destinations include:
  • Analyst or consultant in the banking and insurance sector (risk manager),
  • Analyst or consultant in business (business analyst),
  • Analyst or consultant in public administration and local government (analyst in public administration).

How to apply

Admissions without the need to take an entrance exam. The ranking of applicants is determined on the basis of the average grade in high school. Information on the current admission procedure is available here.
