About the programme

This programme explores themes derived from the scholarly activities of the staff of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies of the faculty. In general, the faculty focuses on the history of philosophy as well as systematic philosophy. The main areas of focus are the scholastic of the High Middle Ages, philosophy of the modern period (second scholastic, Kant), philosophical anthropology, ethics, and the philosophy of religion.
The Faculty of Theology cooperates with the USB Faculty of Arts and the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences in providing this degree programme.

How to apply

Successful completion of the admission procedure, which consists of the following parts:
- written language test
- oral interview:
- on the written presentation of current publishing and educational activities in the field
- on the written proposal of the dissertation project
