About the programme

The master's degree is designed to provide students with sufficient extensive theoretical foundation as well as an adequate level of complementary practical knowledge and skills. However, within the chosen type of degree programme, emphasis is placed on ensuring that teaching is directed primarily towards general principles and understanding of the theoretical foundations, not only on the application of specific technologies and procedures.

Programme structure

Business Informatics:
  • This specialisation prepares graduates who will have the theoretical and practical knowledge of methods and tools for managing the development and operation of complex information systems, electronic and mobile business in various organisations.
  • Graduates will be able to develop information strategy, optimise business processes, design information services that optimally support business processes, design application and technology architecture of IS, design and implement IT applications, design and manage IT projects, IT services and processes and apply appropriate mathematical or statistical methods.

Graduate profile

    Graduates will be able to design and manage information and communication systems, and apply logical and analytical thinking and principles of modern information technology and systems.
    Graduate destinations include:
  • analyst and developer of web applications and enterprise information systems,
  • software architect,
  • development team leader,
  • programmer analyst,
  • data analyst,
  • architect of computer systems and networks,
  • IT manager,
  • IT solutions consultant.
