Systematic topics are dominated by the study of microevolutionary processes, but also the ecological differentiation of populations and phylogeography using the combination of molecular and conventional methods. 2. Topics in plant ecology range from the level of individuals through populations up to communities and the study of vegetation on a landscape scale. 3. Long-term interest is devoted to vegetation dynamics, in particular to the succession and its use in restoration ecology, and also the expansion of non-native plants. 4.
