The aim of the study is to educate scientific and conceptual professionals capable of solving complex and demanding theoretical and practical problems in educational psychology. Graduates are prepared for research work in both basic and applied research, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary research. Given the department's profile (its faculty's expertise and long-term research focus), the training of graduates is particularly oriented towards issues related to motivational and evaluation processes in science education, the psychological aspects of specific learning and behavioral disorders, the support of healthy personality development in children, pupils, and students, the psychology of teachers, and neuropsychological approaches to pedagogical issues.
Programme structure
The degree programme aims to prepare students for their future work as academic or scientific researchers in the field of educational psychology and for positions in applied domains of educational psychology, e.g. in educational public or private sector organisations.
Solve complex and challenging problems in educational psychology.
Develop new educational and methodological approaches in educational psychology that align with current social needs.
Conduct research, including interdisciplinary studies, focusing on motivational and evaluation processes in science education, the psychological aspects of specific learning and behavioral disorders, the support of healthy personality development in children, pupils, and students, the psychology of teachers, and neuropsychological approaches to pedagogical issues.
Design research projects, oversee their implementation, develop appropriate solutions, and apply findings in practice.
