Czech Academic Games 2022: last medals awarded!

Wednesday 22 June was the last day of the Czech Academic Games. The athletes competed in the orienteering race, which this time took place near the Křivonoska Autocamp in Hluboká nad Vltavou. The track for women was 4.8 km long, men ran the whole 6 km. At the end of the day, a ceremony was held where the last medals were given out to the athletes, and the 20th edition of the Czech Academic Games came to an end.

In terms of overall ranking, Charles University in Prague was the most successful at the Games. Second place went to Masaryk University and third place went to Palacký University Olomouc. The University of Technology in Brno and the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice rounded out the top five.

We have already handed over the baton of hosting the Games to Palacký University in Olomouc, which will host the Games next year in 2023. We wish the athletes a great time in Olomouc!
