Dr. Michaela Fencková was elected to the FENS Committee for Higher Education and Training

Dr. Michaela Fencková from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Faculty of Science, has been elected as a member to the Committee for Higher Education and Training (CHET) of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS). In her role as a CHET member, Dr. Fencková will be responsible for coordinating and supporting neuroscience training and education activities across Europe.

"This is a significant achievement for Czech neuroscience, as it marks the first time our country will be represented in the CHET. This role also presents an exciting opportunity for the University of South Bohemia to engage in international-level training courses and student exchange programmes through the Network of European Neuroscience Schools (NENS)," comments Dr. Fencková.
