Prof. Bohumil Jiroušek will become the new rector of the University of South Bohemia

The current vice-rector Prof. Bohumil Jiroušek as the only candidate to become the new rector of the University of South Bohemia.

The Academic Senate of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice elected the candidate to the rector´s position for the period of 2020–2024. Prof. Bohumil Jiroušek, the current vice-rector for Internal Evaluation.

Professor Bohumil Jiroušek was elected by 23 votes, 14 senators abstained from voting.

The functional period of Doc. Tomáš Machula, the current rector of USB, is finishing on 31. 3. 2020.
