Public collection to help the family of Dr. Tomáš Veber

Unfortunately we have to inform you that the husband, father of three children and also our colleague Mgr. Ing. Tomáš Veber, Th.D., has passed away unexpectedly. At this time, his wife has to face many material challenges in addition to the pain of the sudden loss of her partner. For this reason, a fundraiser has been established that can greatly help the family in this difficult situation.

Dr. Veber worked at the University of South Bohemia, first as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Theology, and from 1 September 2022 as an assistant professor at the Department of Social Sciences of the Faculty of Education. In his teaching, scientific and publishing activities, he focused on the much needed didactics of education for civic life and didactics of the foundations of social sciences. He passed on his long experience as a teacher at primary and secondary schools to our students with his consistency, systematicity and above all warmth.
