The Rector of the University of South Bohemia and the CEO of the Nemocnice České Budějovice discussed mutual cooperation.
On Thursday, 30 May 2024, the Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, prof. Ing. Pavel Kozák, Ph.D. visited Nemocnice České Budějovice. The CEO of the hospital MUDr. Ing. Michal Šnorek, Ph.D., introduced him to the history of the hospital, its current state and future development plans, consisting primarily in the transfer of all operations from the lower to the upper premises of the hospital. During this important meeting, the subject of the meeting was also the presentation of the scientific research activities of the hospital and the strategy of its further development or the practical aspects of the cooperation of the České Budějovice hospital with the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice in the training of non-medical health professionals. A less well-known fact is that the Nemocnice České Budějovice also cooperates with the Faculty of Science of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. MUDr. Ing. Michal Šnorek, Ph.D., highlighted the very promising prospect of this scientific research cooperation.
Strengthening the long-term partnership between the two institutions is the best prerequisite for further development in the field of education, research and innovation.
