From 11 - 13 September 2024, the second meeting of the Heritage Game project, part of the KreativEU university consortium team, took place. The event was held at the Valahia University of Târgovişte in Romania and was attended by representatives from the University of South Bohemia.
Dr. Karvánková and Dr. Blažek contributed their expertise and experience to the discussion on the future direction of the project. Together with colleagues from Trnava University, they presented the schedule for Work Package 3 - the manual for application development.
The Heritage Game project aims to increase community and citizen engagement in the protection and promotion of cultural heritage in sparsely populated areas, create tools for gamification in this field, support collaboration between communities and academics, and disseminate the benefits of these approaches. This meeting was a key step towards achieving the outlined goals. Participants agreed on several important steps to follow, including the preparation of an international seminar to be held in January 2025 at Trnava University.
