This book will be used as a textbook for teaching European law in Vietnam as well as for teaching European law at JU. The aim of the publication is to introduce the EU and specific principles of European law to Vietnamese students and future managers in Vietnam. The authors believe that this book will contribute to even greater cooperation between the two regions in the future, not only on an academic and economic level but also on a human level. Dr. Hrubý recalled that one of the parts of the book is also devoted to direct economic cooperation with the Czech Republic.

H.E. Thái Xuân Dũng expressed his conviction that the cooperation between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Czech Republic will not only continue but develop intensively. According to him, the new cooperation agreement between the two countries, which has already been mutually agreed in content and will be signed in the near future, will certainly contribute to this. This agreement will also facilitate better cooperation between the universities. The Ambassador highlighted the importance of the fishing industry for Vietnam and the export of its products to the EU. He thanked the authors of the book very much and stated that it will certainly help not only Vietnamese university students but also business entities to have a better understanding of EU law. He sees growing potential in the cooperation with the USB and promised USB representatives his future assistance and involvement in specific projects.
