On Monday, 7 October 2024, a delegation from Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, visited the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. Representatives of the Vietnamese university's management, led by its Rector Dr. Tran Trong Dao, headed to USB with the intention to deepen the existing cooperation, which is currently successfully taking place with the USB Faculty of Economics. During the meeting, which was introduced by the USB Rector prof. Ing. Pavel Kozák, Ph.D., it was possible to find common interest especially in the scientific fields of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters and the Faculty of Science. Thanks to the prosperous cooperation with the Faculty of Economics, it was possible to establish an important contact with a successful Vietnamese university. The whole meeting took place in a friendly spirit and at the end both sides promised to cooperate also in the framework of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, which will take place next year.
