The Czech Siemens awarded the Werner von Siemens Prizes 2023 to the best students, young scientists, and teachers.
Mgr. Václav Brabec, who defended his master's thesis at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics last year, received the prestigious award in the category of best master's thesis. Under the guidance of Mgr. David Dolezel, Ph.D. (Czech Academy of Sciences, Biological Centre - Institute of Entomology) with his diploma thesis on 'In silico and Functional Analysis of the Clock Protein TIMELESS-M', he took the 3rd place.
