On 22 and 23 October 2024, the University of South Bohemia hosted an event of a completely new format. The Technology Transfer Office of the University of South Bohemia organized a meeting with representatives of the investor group BPD Partners. Researchers had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas or new research plans and projects. Researchers from the Biology Centre CAS were also invited to make presentations.
Scientists presented a total of 11 interesting results in various stages of readiness. From USB, researchers from the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Agriculture and Technology and Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters. This was the first investor meeting for both parties on the university premises and the immediate feedback was very positive. It showed that linking the scientific and application spheres makes a lot of sense and the feedback received can help to move or guide to the next stages of commercialisation.
