Victory of student Lívia Kucková from the USB Faculty of Arts in the Premio Iberoamericano competition

Lívie Kucková, a student of the Department of Romance Studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of South Bohemia, won the 29th annual Iberoamerican Prize, awarded for the best essay in the field of culture, history, language or literature of Ibero-American countries.

In her essay on "El humor uniendo dos naciones en distintos continentes" she focused on the linguistic means used to express humour in the work of the Argentinian group Les Luthiers and the Czech Jára Cimrman Theatre.
